About Student Life
The Division of Student Life Mission
With a focus on students' holistic development, the Division of Student Life partners with students, staff, and faculty to cultivate diverse and thriving communities. We provide support, mentorship, educational initiatives, and opportunities for identity exploration and leadership development to foster students' academic success, well-being, and capacity to become life-long learners who contribute to an equitable society.
What We Offer
Student life is about much more than just what goes on inside the classroom. Through our multiple offices and responsibilities, the Division of Student Life staff offer a variety of events, and leadership experiences that provide students the opportunity to meet new people and explore their interests and passions.
Supporting Students of Concern or in Emergencies
We have staff on-call twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to ensure students are safe and secure. Learn who to contact if you need support or are concerned about a student's well-being.
Financial Well-being Resources
We make every effort to support students’ financial well-being — the ability to successfully manage expenses and meet short- and long- term financial goals within an established budget and current resources. At times, students experience unanticipated situations or face difficult circumstances that interfere with their financial well-being and academic success.
Athletics, Intramurals and Recreation
At Roger Williams University we believe in building a strong mind and healthy body. For our students this means access to state-of-the-art recreation facilities and a range of fun, active intramural sports and activities.
