Exploring Refuge
Learning an art form is a difficult task in and of itself, but using that art form as a tool for social justice is the work of artistic activism. Cayley, a senior Dance Performance and Education major from Haverhill, Massachusetts, worked with Professor Cathy Nicoli and her Advanced Choreography class to express what they鈥檇 learned about the refugee crisis through the medium they are passionate about. This hour long installation was performed multiple times for campus community as a shared reflection of the conflict happening around the world.
