The Mathematics and Physics Department provides the quantitative reasoning component in a liberal arts education and makes available a variety of courses and programs for those who need advanced training in mathematics and physics. Our faculty maintain active research programs and are committed to providing opportunities for students to become involved in undergraduate research in Mathematics and Physics. Many students present their research at regional and national conferences, and have won awards for their outstanding work.
