��±�’s&�Բ�����;Talking in the Library lecture series presents author and public intellectual Robert Boyers on November 20, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in the Mary Tefft White Cultural Center.

Mr. Boyers is a Professor of English at Skidmore College, director of the New York State Summer Writers Institute, and editor of , widely recognized as one of the most influential intellectual quarterlies in the United States.

His most recent book, The Tyranny of Virtue:  Identity, The Academy, and the Hunt for Political Heresies is a collection of nine essays that addresses recent shifts in American culture and argues “for the tolerance of difference that is at the heart of the liberal tradition.”
