The healthy communities program prepares students for careers in community-based health in nonprofit organizations, public and private healthcare institutions as well as careers in healthcare policy and administration. Students in the healthy communities program focus on the critical social and economic systems that health intersects with and their impacts on communities through policy and practice.

The Bachelor of Science in Healthy Communities program prepares students for careers in community-based health in nonprofit organizations, public and private healthcare institutions as well as careers in healthcare policy and administration.
The Healthy Communities program focuses on the critical social and economic systems that health intersects with and their impacts on communities through policy and practice.
The degree in Healthy Communities prepares students with a foundation in community and social health-related history, theory and practice in fields of healthcare administration, public health, community development, public administration and strategic communications. Students have the option to further specialize in one of three concentrations: Case Management, Gerontology or Health Service Administration.
Individualized Support, More Affordable
At EXT, you get the individualized attention of a private university at a more affordable cost. There are multiple options for financial aid, scholarships, and accelerated paths to get you to the degree you need. Some programs run by Roger Williams are awarded by simply applying for admission, while others are awarded to students through a more formal aid application process.
