Alexander Knights is an Associate Professor of Management in the Mario J. Gabelli School of Business (GSB). He joined GSB in January, 2015 after completing his Ph.D. in Leadership and Organizational Behavior at Binghamton University, State University of New York. Prior to joining academia, Professor Knights worked in the area of Securities Lending at JPMorgan Chase Bank in New York City.
In addition to teaching courses at GSB in Management Principles and Leadership, Professor Knights also conducts research that focuses on executive psychology. Specifically, his research is fundamentally interested in enriching our understanding of the role that executive dispositions play in outcomes related to leaders (e.g., behaviors, decision-making, and compensation) and organizations (e.g., innovation, organizational design and performance).
