BAL 2023: Biennale of Latinamerican Architecture

Exhibition

March 20 - April 26, 2024 | ARCH 121 Gallery

The Latin American Architecture Biennale BAL is held every other year in the city of Pamplona, Spain, and is a framework to showcase in Europe a sample of recent and outstanding examples of the professional practice by young Latin American architects, all under 40 years old. The Biennale transforms the city into an architectural hotspot. Every other year, the call brings ffi12 young architecture offices from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Per煤 or Uruguay, who display their work through a travelling exhibition and lectures. The intense week of events is also accompanied by an exhibit of recent work by participants in previous biennales along with a comprehensive monographic show on architecture of the XX century produced in the guest country which, in 2023, was Ecuador.

The BAL is supported by the Spanish Ministry of Public Works, the Government of Navarra, the University of Navarra, the Pamplona City Council, and the Navarra Delegation of the Basque-Navarre Institute of Architects.

The VIII Latin American Architecture Biennale, , took place in Pamplona, Spain, in September 2023.
