"Repairing the City"

Angelo Lunati studied architecture at Politecnico di Milano, FAUP Porto, and received his PhD at the ETH Zurich with a dissertation on Modern Architecture in Milan. In 2011 he founded Onsitestudio together with Giancarlo Floridi. Their built work includes the Pirelli Learning Centre, BASE Cultural Centre and other urban building in Milan, receiving numerous honors and awards. Angelo has taught as a Guest professor at TU Wien (2021/22) and IUAV Venezia (2014-2021) and, since 2010, he is Unit professor at Politecnico di Milano. He is the John C. Portman Design Critic in Architecture at Harvard GSD for Fall 2024.

Onsitestudio is an architectural practice based in Milan and headed by Angelo Lunati and Giancarlo Floridi, sharing a boundless fascination for architecture and the city. We are a group of 20 architects, and after more than 15 years of intense collaboration, the practice has achieved an international reputation for design and professionalism.
